Academic scholarships are awarded in May to students graduating from The Brunswick Learning Center Alternative School, South Brunswick High School, North Brunswick High School and West Brunswick High School. Scholarship awards are contingent upon verification of acceptance as a full time student to an institution of higher education. Scholarships range from $500.00 to $1,000.00.

Applicants are scored on the basis of academics, financial need, community involvement, extracurricular activities, and interviewing skills.

The scholarship applications are processed through the high school guidance counselor and a deadline is applicable.

The CIS Scholarship Committee reviews the applications, interviews successful candidates and awards the scholarship at the high school graduation ceremony.
